Jordan Twadell, Soprano

About Jordan

Jordan Twadell is a soprano from Gurnee, Illinois, currently pursuing her Master of Music degree at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University, where she studies with Professor Nova Thomas.

Jordan made her Shepherd School Opera debut as the Marquis in John Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles and has since appeared as Erste Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. In the spring of 2026, she looks forward to singing Alice Ford in the Shepherd School’s concert performance of Verdi’s Falstaff.

Jordan has performed with the Janiec Opera Company of the Brevard Music Center, appearing as First Lady in The Magic Flute, and has also covered roles and solo repertoire including the soprano solo in Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony. An alumna of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, she will attend the Music Academy of the West as a Voice Fellow in the summer of 2026.
